The second instalment of our Wainwrights Series sees us taking on the Langdale Pikes Horseshoe! We are taking on a massive 8 Wainwrights on this fantastic circular route, starting in the Langdale Valley.

This iconic collection of peaks offers a thrilling challenge for hikers, with towering summits, breathtaking views, and a sense of true wilderness that will leave you in awe.


As you set out on this exhilarating hike, you’ll be rewarded with panoramic vistas of some of the Lake District’s finest landscapes — from the lush green valleys of Langdale to the shimmering waters of the surrounding lakes. The distinctive peaks, including the Pike of Stickle and Harrison Stickle rise dramatically above the valley floor, creating an unforgettable backdrop for your adventure.
