Join us for an unforgettable adventure to Sheffield Pike, one of the best spots to watch the sunrise in the Lake District. Our journey begins with a leisurely 7.75-kilometer (4.8-mile) hike from Glenridding to the summit of Sheffield Pike, where we'll set up camp around 7pm. As we enjoy dinner, you'll be treated to a breathtaking sunset over the western peaks. The total ascent and descent for this hike are approximately 581 meters (1,906 feet), making it a moderately challenging but highly rewarding experience. The following morning, we'll rise early to witness the stunning sunrise across the full length of Ullswater, a sight that promises to be absolutely unforgettable.
This event includes guided support from experienced mountain leaders, ensuring your safety and enhancing your experience with their extensive knowledge of the area. While tents, sleeping bags, and mats are not included in the price, we do offer a limited number for hire if needed. This adventure is perfect for those looking to combine the thrill of hiking with the serene beauty of a Lake District sunrise.
