About the event
Our Guided Mountain Days are perfect for nature enthusiasts and thrill-seekers alike. Get ready to explore the breathtaking scenery of the Wasdale valley, accompanied by your guide who will share his knowledge of the dramatic landscape, provide coaching and ensure your safety along the way.
This is a group event for up to 8 people, welcoming individuals and groups for bookings. This walk begins from the eastern end of Wasdale Lake. Starting and finishing the day at Lake Head car park, expect to take in some of Lakeland's finest points of interest including; Wasdale, Lingmell Fell and Scafell Pike.
Difficulty: Moderate Approximate Duration: 6 hours Distance: 10km / 6 Miles Ascent / Descent: 900m / 900m

Facilities
Public toilet in Lake Head car park
Hot food and drink can be purchased approximately 1 mile away from the finish point at Lake Head Inn. Lake Head Inn also have accommodation if needed, alternatively the National trust campsite is next to the event starting point.
