Guided Hike: Little Sugar Loaf & Bray Head Adventure

Join us for a scenic and enriching guided hike through some of Wicklow’s most stunning landscapes! This moderate 13km hike offers a mix of breathtaking views, forest trails, and fascinating insights into the history and wildlife of the area.


What to Expect:We’ll begin our journey on a section of the Belmont Way trail, making our ascent toward the Little Sugar Loaf. From the summit, enjoy sweeping views inland of the Wicklow Mountains and stunning coastal panoramas. The adventure continues with a descent through peaceful forest trails, leading us through the beautiful Kilruddery Estate. From here, we’ll hike up to Bray Head, where you’ll be treated to more fabulous coastal vistas. Staying on the higher trail, we’ll make our way to the opposite side of Bray Head, eventually returning to Belmont Demesne via charming woodland paths. Throughout the hike, enjoy plenty of engaging chats about the local history and wildlife, making this more than just a walk—it’s an experience!

Not climbed a Mountain before? Don't worry, you don’t need to be an athlete to enjoy mountain climbing in the UK, but a reasonable level of fitness will certainly enhance your experience. Here are some key points to consider:


Basic Fitness: You should be comfortable walking for several hours at a steady pace. Regular walking or jogging can help build your stamina.

Strength and Endurance: Some strength in your legs and core will be beneficial, as mountain paths can be steep and uneven.
